What does EveryDrive do?
EveryDrive uses your phone’s location to detect when you drive into ULEZ, the London Congestion Charge, a UK Clean Air Zone or through a camera-tolled crossing, tells you whether your vehicle is charged, and reminds you before the payment deadline so you don’t get a penalty charge notice.
Does EveryDrive pay the charge for me?
No. EveryDrive alerts and reminds you, and links you to the official payment page. You always pay the scheme operator (TfL or GOV.UK) directly, with no extra fee.
Do I need to pay ULEZ?
Only if your vehicle doesn’t meet the ULEZ standards: petrol Euro 4 or diesel Euro 6. Most petrol cars from 2006 and diesels from September 2015 are compliant, as are all electric cars.
How long do I have to pay ULEZ or a Clean Air Zone charge?
ULEZ and the Congestion Charge must be paid by midnight on the third day after you drove in. Clean Air Zones in England give you up to 6 days after.
